Luke Ryan decided to show up a couple of weeks early. Aside from making sure that Jeanine and I met each other, God could not have given us a more absolutely perfect gift than little Luke. Fun stories, pictures, and full-on details are going to have to wait until we figure out how to fit a website into this insane 3-hour feed-sleep-diaper cycle. Until then, though, here are the vital stats, a picture [taken just minutes after his arrival!], and a movie of him in all his active glory:

Oh! Look at those eyes!!! I don't think I've ever seen them. They are gorgeous. He is seriously the most beautiful baby on the planet. Thanks so much for posting the video of him awake. I've watched it 42 times and counting. He is so inquisitive! I cannot believe he is already four days old. He's growing up so fast - I can't staaaaand it!!

Congratulations Jeanine and Beau!!! Luke is sooo adorable! I've loved this website so i could read about the pregnancy and feel connected to the family that lives so far away. When will i get to met my new cousin?? I was so excited when I heard he was born- I am so happy for you two! Jeanine, can you imagine your parents being GRANDparents!?! I miss you all!! Can't wait until I can meet your new family!

Awwwww! He is absolutely beautiful. We have been anxiously awaiting some pics of the little guy. Thanks for sharing the movie too! Grady just stares at it in awe...Can't wait to meet you Luke.
