Disney World!

Leaving 9 month old Faith in the ever-helpful hands of Granmom and Grandad, we packed up the boys and took them on their first trip to Disney World. It was a ridiculously fun week for all four of us.

Here they are at the very beginning of Main Street noticing the castle for the first time. Their reactions completely match their personalities.

Even more photos and movies from the whole week are just a click away. Go here to see them all!

On the boat headed to the Magic Kingdom.

We didn't even make it in the front gate before the boys were completely consumed with collecting the tiny bits of Mickey-shaped sparkly confetti on the ground.

Their first roller-coaster: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Towards the second half of the ride Silas had his hands up as high as they would go.

One of the boys' favorite parts of the trip was our pirate-themed hotel room.

Epcot!

Test Track!

Silas's has one Transformer (he even brought him on the trip). His name is Volt. Luke kept trying to peer under the car to see the presence of a folded-under robot head. Silas took it at face value that the Transformer was just going to stay a Chevy while we were present.

Same as they did for us as kids, the dancing water fountains of Epcot provided tons of entertainment.

Mommy gets in on the action.

You can barely make it out, but check out the cartwheel that Silas uses to impress Minnie.

If you ever ask about the boys' top 5 rides, "Mr. Potato Head" will be on the list. The actual name of the ride? Toy Story Mania.

Honey, I Shrunk The Silas.

Cars!

The boys could have stayed at the hotel pool for a couple of days.

When this parade dancer came by, Silas jumped up and started dancing with her.

Digging for dinosaur bones.

Jumping from dinosaur bones.

Epcot really was the park for non-ride-based entertainment. As we headed out one night, the boys stumbled across some fiber-optic glow-y lights in the pavement. They proceeded to create their own games around the moving floor show. Leaping from fading panels to newly lit panels, trying to stomp them out, etc.

Another hour or so later, they were still going at it...

Looking through the pictures and seeing how much fun the boys had makes me SO excited about the boy I'm about to have!! Thanks for sharing!

This is just the most awesome overload of nephew goodness ever! Oh, to be a fly on the wall during Luke and Silas' "conversations" about the fun times they had at Disney World...

Thanks for putting this up, Beau!
